I asked my self, am I lazy, tired and sick...? NO, or am I an atheist...? Still a big NO. So what is my problem?
I searched my heart for all the plausible reasons why I just turned out to be a jerk, and these are my findings I'm sharing with you blog-fans.
1). Am tired of hearing same messages in different grammar. Our preachers are officially out of tune and also confused about what to preach or what to focus on.
2). Church Offerings are now collected more than 5 times in a single service.
3). Churches including mine has lost it's role in charity. I ask myself, if I need help from any church will they ever offer me. The church and her leaders are too busy looking for more money and congregation to pounce on.
4). Recently too much time has been spent collecting offerings than preaching the gospel.
5). The Church in my opinion has failed to be a tool that builds men. Everyday we read and see our men of God in loads of shady acts, and even the country is in a mess of ungodly acts and character, everyone is callous and yet we all go to church.
6). Are we really serving God or we are serving men of God?
7). I tell God this in my mind everyday... Oh Lord, my country men have failed in everything. How do I trust them with your word, for you said in the Bible "the heart of man is "desperately wicked" and Nigerians have surpassed that phrase.
8). Lastly, while I was writing this piece I was also downloading (download link here: http://bit.ly/OKZCmW) the video of the 4 UNIPORT student killed by community people in Port-harcourt for stealing laptop and phones... And it struck me again that both the thieves and the people killing them are Christians who attend church.
I realized that, false messages, glory hunting, money needing pastors never told their followers that ''he who cast the 1st stone should be without sin"
I realized that our pastors and politicians have even stolen more from us but they supremely roam free with our respect to follow.
Am still sad about my mistrust for the Nigerian brand of Christianity, and I pray God will help me find him more in a better way.

Mahatma Ghandi once said Be the change you want to see .... If all of us as individuals, first allow ourselves to be transformed positively,we become prepared to have a positive effect on the person sitting next to us even in church.Really the responsibility is on us all not on just the leadership.
