More often, the answers to human’s spiritual problems are resoled at their roots. This is the thrust of Foreign Demons, a movie set in South Africa and Nigeria.
The movie which has enjoined screenings at international film festivals, including the popular FESPACO, in Ouagadougou is scheduled to hit the Nigerian cinemas on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Silverbird Cinemas around the country.
The movie director, Faith Isiakpere a Nigeria co-produced the flick with his South African wife, Firdoze Bulbulia, to decry the suspecting attitude of the South African locals on foreigners through strong filmic lines and a protagonist that says to all that no single country is a custodian of bad or good people.
Who else could have been used to carry this important message of unity across the continent if not Yvonne Chaka-Chaka whose music is loved all over Africa. She co-satrs with Justice Esiri.
A 50 something year old, God fearing South African woman (Yvonne Chaka Chaka) starts having nightmares and becomes violently sick. She seeks medical and spiritual attention but is advised to go to a Sangoma (Zolani Mkiva) whom she is told will help her find the remedy.
