Describe your sense of style?
My sense of style is largely centred on comfort and what looks good on me. I’m not entirely a tom-boy or girly girl….I’m somewhere in between. I wear what I want, depending on my mood. There was a time I would wear nothing but jeans and a tee, there was a tunics phase, there was a preppy phase complete with a slim tie. Right now, I’m very fond of dresses and skirts and heels.
What were you thinking when you got dressed this morning?
I didn’t want to wear jeans and a T-shirt. I just woke up not in the mood. It happens sometimes. So I picked the jumpsuit, red shoes and accessories to match.
What is your most prized possession?
My mind.
Facts on interesting pieces you have on today and where they are from?
My Jumpsuit - I got it last year from forever 21. The shoes, ring and necklace are from an accessories store in New York (can’t recall the name).
If you could raid anybody’s closet, whose would it be and why?
So many people! Elohor Aisien, Ifeoma Williams, Tracee Ellis Ross and Keri Washington.
Does your style vary very much from day to night, considering the business that you are in?
Yes, it does….I wear jeans or leggings to work most times, with a T-shirt or tunic. At night, I almost always wear dresses or slip on a pair of heels.
Whose style do you admire most and why?
In Nigeria, I would say Elohor Aisien and Ifeoma Williams. They both look effortlessly classy.
What is your favourite vacation spot and any interesting memories from there?
New York! Going shopping and finding great deals.
Who is your favourite fashion designer?
Nigerian – April by Kunbi Oyelese, Akpos Okudu and Ejiro Amos Tafiri . I don’t think I can pick a favourite international designer.
