Nollywood, 'the little engine that could' continues to grew and flourish, inspiring those from other nationalities to do same. We have heard of Kannywood (Hausa movies) Gollywood (films from Ghana) Ugawood (films from Uganda) Riverwood (films from Kenya) Even Joziwood (films by South African Township Blacks)It seems there is a new variant! Dare I call it 'Akatawood'! lol For those not in the know 'Akata' is a yoruba term that is used to describe Blacks in Diaspora. Its not a derogatory word, please! But is just used to describe the fact that the person is black but is from overseas (usually Europe and America) and so may have a culture and experience different from those in Africa.
